Paul Lamour / Photographer

The art of photography through the eyes of Paul.

Malraux said: "Art is the shortest way from man to man.
If he tries to tint his pictures with this truth, Paul draws his photographic favourites from human activity and nature, whether they are captured at the end of the world or in his immediate environment.
Equipped with a magic "AGFA" box, he began his photographic career in 1955. He did photo courses at the CAMAS workshops of the International School of Vence (1983-1984) and advanced courses at the Déclic 91 club
( 2011 à 2013 ).
He made photographic reports accompanying his professional activities in the cultural world between 1966 and 2002.
Since 2003, Paul has been practising his passion for the press and during trips (Latin America, Iceland, Namibia...), photo-reportages and conferences.
He participates in collective and personal exhibitions, in photo competitions from which he obtains several prizes: the public's prize at Saint Michel-sur-Orge 2014, the Morsaint'Art Morsang-sur-Orge 2015, and various prizes at the Brie Comte robert nature photography competition. In 2023, he will be awarded the Loiret Department prize at the Dordives fauna-flora show.
