Bruno Guyon / Plastic artist and sculptor

Black has become Bruno's companion.

After thirty years of figurative illustrations on media as diverse as aeronautics, nautical and automotive, as well as mural frescoes that have taken him around the world and to movie theatres, Bruno, an artisan body painter, has recently begun to express himself in monochrome.
Black has become his companion because "from black comes light". Like anamorphosis, this deformation in the reflection of a curved mirror creates reliefs that offer a completely different angle of perception, that of his message.
Hundreds of hours are necessary to interpret the figure of the line as simply as possible, to reach this perfection of lines which precisely appeal to the gaze from which it is difficult to break away.
Bruno seeks elegance and likes to speak of "efficiency" in reference to the great Leonardo da Vinci, whose simplicity of line he holds up as a model. He now sees new objectives for the discovery of his works.
"Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication" [Leonardo da Vinci].
