Crazy Hops

Beers with character for lovers of strong flavours and bitterness...

Craft brewery formerly known as BIERE DE L'OURCQ.

For the record, the brewery moved in the summer of 2014 from Claye-Souilly, on the banks of the Ourcq canal, to Villeniard, a hamlet in the Gâtinais bocage in the south of the Seine-et-Marne.

CRAZY HOPS means "crazy hops". Jérôme offers copiously hopped beers and selects the best hops. He does not hesitate to use 10 to 20 times more hops than in an industrial beer. The innovative hopping techniques consist of adding hops at different stages of the production process during fermentation or during the aging process just before bottling in order to give you a surprising range of aromas: citrus, exotic fruits, floral, herbaceous or spicy...

At Crazy Hops, everything is done to limit the environmental impact of its activity. Thus, the malt comes from the nearest malting plant located in the Loiret region, and means of transport are centralised with other producers, etc. The brewery is 100% renewable energy.

Its "Hop'Session", an American pale ale made its debut at Paris Beer Week and is now available via the "La Ruche qui dit oui" network.

The beers:
- Cher'veza (pink ale) with hibiscus flower
- Hop'session (pale ale)
- Get Hop Stand Up (india pale ale)
- And ephemeral and collaborative beers
